Giorgia, 17, Italy: "I had a very great time in Veryan. The lovely experience has really helped me improve my English. I learned much (especially as far as vocabulary is concerned) and without even realising it; every day I had lots of opportunity to talk to and to be intouch with friendly people.
The lessons were useful, because often they were focused on what I had doubts about.

Finally, Veryan is a lovely little seaside village that I was very comfortable in and I particularly liked all of the wonderful places that I visited nearby. The only discouraging thing I feel I have to complain about was the weather, but I guess that is probably because I'm Italian!"

Yuko, age 45, from Japan: "Everything was wonderful in Veryan. With the skilled teachers, Gill and Tony, lessons were of excellent quality. At the same time I learned the genuine English way of living as well as learning English. Everybody was kind and hospitable and I cannot thank them enough for my pleasant and fruitful stay. Veryan, the village they live in, is such a charming place with lots of lovely walks. After the morning lesson we (including Daisy the dog) usually enjoyed walking. On weekends Gill and Tony kindly took me to beauty spots in Cornwall. What spectacular views there were! I'm sure Veryan is the ideal place for students who want to improve their English in a warm and wonderful environment."
